DESCRIPTION:Bishop Community Band will continue their Summer/Fall season of Concerts in the Park. They will perform every Monday from now until the leaves turn at the Gazebo in the front of the City Park at 8:00 P.M. through August 25th. and the start time will change to 7:00 P.M. in September. \nThe music will include marches\, popular songs\, jazz arrangements and popular novelty numbers. Bring a chair and/or a blanket and enjoy the cool of the evening with the music of the Bishop Community Band. For nigh unto fifty years local musicians have been serenading the citizens and visitors in Bishop on Monday nights. Every concert is absolutely free of charge. We will begin with welcome and appetizers before joining a rotation of education\, an interactive tour highlighting the working cattle ranch. We will also have a leather craft\, photobooth and roping dummies\, and line dancing for those who would like to participate. Cowboy poet Mike Williams will be performing and then live music with Giacomo and Friends. Dinner will be a traditional meal of tritip\, salads\, beans\, bread and dessert.\nThis is our second annual fundraiser ranch dinner. Last year was a huge success and visitors said they can’t wait for the next one.\nWell\, here is your opportunity to participate\, and help us educate others and support agricultural scholarships for graduating seniors.
