Offering two days of lectures and presentations from a wide range of Eastern Sierra scholars and storytellers\, the History Conference delivers extensive knowledge about the nature\, culture\, history and economy of our region. \nTopics for 2025 include the hydrology of Owens Lake and Bishop Creek\, discussions of notable Eastern Sierra figures like Mary Austin and Norman Clyde\, a dive into the journals of beloved Yosemite ranger Ferdinand Castillo\, history of the Big Pine cemetery\, and much more. \nSchedule – a full schedule will be sent to all attendees\nFriday\, Oct 31 – Presentations from 8:30am – 4:30pm\nSaturday\, Nov 1 – Presentations from 8:30am – 4:30pm\nSunday\, Nov 2 – Off site field trips (more details coming) \nContinental breakfast\, beverages and lunch provided Friday and Saturday.

All proceeds from ticket sales and beer sales will go directly to these programs. Tickets are only: \n$18 ($20 at the door) for Sierra Forever members\, and\n$20 ($25 at the door) for non-members. \nDoors open at 6:30pm and films start at 7:00pm.
