Bishop Mule Days is a beloved annual festival that transforms the town of Bishop, California, into a vibrant celebration of the hardworking mule. Held over six days leading up to Memorial Day, this event showcases the incredible versatility and skill of mules through a variety of competitions, including packing, riding, and driving events, all taking place at the Tri-County Fairgrounds. One of the highlights is the renowned non-motorized parade down Main Street, where mules and their handlers take center stage. Beyond the competitions, visitors can enjoy live music, an arts and crafts fair, and a lively atmosphere that captures the spirit of the Old West.
