Alabama Hills Geology Walk – A Sierra Forever Event

Join Death Valley National Park Service Ranger Joel and learn about the many forces that created the unique Alabama Hills landscape over the eons. Refer to flyer for details about this and other hikes in March.
All programs are FREE. Attendees, please meet at the Mobius Arch Trailhead unless otherwise indicated.
(Remember also that a Ranger will be available at a popup table from 10 a.m. to Noon, also at the trailhead, in case you want to ask questions about anything related to the Alabama Hills.)
Interpretive hikes are outdoors and subject to cancellation without prior notice due to weather or other factors.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Dress in layers, wear sturdy walking/hiking shoes, and practice sun and wind protection by wearing a hoodie, or hat and sunscreen. Bring drinking water and a snack. And don’t forget your curiosity!
