
Birds & Bristlecones Nature Walk

Join local naturalists for a one hour walk through the ancient bristlecone pine forest. Learn about the birds that call this forest home and the unique ecology of the oldest trees in the world.
When: Friday August 15 , 9:00am – 10:00am
Where: Meet at Schulman Grove Visitor Center Deck
What: Walk is an easy one mile loop trail with about a 100 feet of elevation gain.
All ages are welcome on all of our hikes, but children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
We recommend dressing in weather appropriate layers, having sun protection such as hats and sunglasses, wearing comfortable walking/hiking shoes, and bringing a small pack with water and snacks.
