All boats entering Crowley Lake will be inspected to keep our waterways safe from the spread of invasive quagga mussels. Boats showing signs of contamination, or found to contain any water or debris that could harbor mussels, will not be allowed to launch into Crowley Lake. Boats that have tags from last season do not need to be re-inspected as long as the original tag has not been broken or tampered with.

Fishmas is sooooon! Eastern Sierra Trout Opener is Saturday, April 26th. Crowley Lake will open the gates on Thursday, the 24th at 8 am. Camping is first-come, first-served in Whiskey Bay, Beaver Cove, and the lakefront here at the South Landing.

Lake levels will be high, so check in on where to launch.

Invasive Golden Mussel !

The discovery of these new golden mussels presents threats to more local waters than the Quaggas and Zebras because they need less calcium in the water and can survive higher and lower temps. Bottom line, we need your help to spread the word to keep the invasive species from spreading into our lakes and streams. Best practice for boats, trailers and gear is Drain, Clean & Dry.
