Step into the world of Norman Clyde, one of the Sierra Nevada’s most legendary mountaineers of the 20th century!
Having spent over 60 years in the “Range of Light,” Clyde was a freelance writer, nature photographer, self-taught naturalist, and extraordinary mountaineer.
He completed more than 100 search and rescue missions and achieved over 130 first-known European ascents— often while carrying an 80-pound pack!
Local historian and author David Woodruff brings this larger-than-life character to the stage in a captivating 60-minute theatrical storytelling experience!
Drinks and a special dinner menu will be available for purchase. Seating is limited to 50, come early to the Whisky Creek event room.
