UC WMRC Lecture Series: High-elevation white pines of the Eastern Sierra

Michèle Slaton, USFS Inyo National Forest, will be discussing noteworthy high-elevation white pine forest trends, agents of change, and opportunities for management aimed at conservation. This talk is based on the recent WMRC Symposium paper that she coauthored, titled “High-elevation white pines of the Eastern Sierra: a tale of forest health, fire, and snow.”
