With spring well on its way, join a naturalist on a stroll through the Alabama Hills’ fanciful rocks to get a close-up look at the desert’s seasonal changes as reflected through its flora and fauna. No groundhogs here, but plenty of other wildlife, and we will answer groundhog questions!

All programs are FREE. Attendees, please meet at the Mobius Arch Trailhead unless otherwise indicated.

Interpretive hikes are outdoors and subject to cancellation without prior notice due to weather or other factors.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Dress in layers, wear sturdy walking shoes, and practice sun protection by wearing a hat and sunscreen. Bring drinking water and a snack. And don’t forget your curiosity!
