9:00-9:15 Morning Mingle. Enjoy coffee and pastries.

9:15 – 9:35 Introduction to Pollinator Gardens. Learn the basics and importance of creating a pollinator garden. Presented by Gena Wood- Eastern Sierra Land Trust.

9:35-10:05 Design For Wildlife. Learn how to design or redesign your pollinator garden with wildlife in mind. Presented by Pete Pumphrey

10:05-10:10 Short Break

10:10-10:40 Design for Fire. Learn how you can improve your garden and home’s risk of fire with these firewise gardening tips. Presented by Roberta Lagomarsini- UC Master Gardeners of Inyo and Mono Counties.

10:40- 11:10 Healthy Soils for Healthy Plants. Learn more about your garden’s foundation, how soil supports the entire food web, and how you can improve your garden’s soil. Presented by Julie Fontaine- Habitat Restoration Specialist.

11:10-11:15 Short Break

11:15-11:45 Planting with Native Plants. Learn best practices for including native plants in your garden and learn more about the ones you might want to incorporate into your garden. Presented by Katie Quinlan- California Native Plant Society, Bristlecone Chapter.
