Region’s Celebration Of Summer
As the name suggests, the Eastern Sierra Tri-County fair is for THREE counties in the region – Mono, Inyo, and Alpine counties. Hosted each year around Labor Day on the beautiful Tri-County fairgrounds in Bishop. The event hosts a smorgasbord of fun. Activities include live entertainment, carnival rides and games, barns full of livestock, demolition derby, a rodeo, and so much more.
Leaping Into 2022
In addition to the perennial favorites of the destruction derby and rodeo, for this year they’ve pulled out all the stops on live entertainment. Luis Angel “El Flaco” and Randy Houser will be performing.
Luis spent more than a decade and a half as part of one of the most influential Bandas in the Latin American region. And as a soloist, his first single “Reflexion” off his debut album remains highly popular in the United States, Mexico, and Central America.
Randy was signed by Universal South Records in 2008 where he charted “Anything Goes” as a top 20 hit on the Billboard country singles chart. Over the years, he’s put out multiple hits such as “Boots On,” “How Country Feels,” and “Like a Cowboy.” This is your chance to see platinum selling artist Randy Houser in concert supporting his latest album “Magnolia.”
Combine some hiking, biking, or climbing in Bishop’s Big Backyard with the Tri-County Fair. And you got yourself one heckuva great Labor Day weekend.
