The Eastern Sierra Observatory will host a series of lectures on the night of July 20th, 21st and 22nd.  Each night will offer a new topic including black holes, the moons of our solar system , and galaxy evolution. Attendance will be limited to 16 guests.

There It Is…Take It!

On Saturday July 22 at 2PM, the Southern Mono Historical Society (SMHS) will be presenting a Chautauqua performance of William Mulholland titled, There It Is…Take It!  Author and historian David Woodruff will re-enact the infamous “Father of the Aqueduct,” as he recalls the difficult and onerous history of the Los Angeles Aqueduct and the people of the Eastern Sierra during the 1920s.
