The Tri-County Fair will include a Labor Day Parade this year! The parade is on Saturday September 4, @ 10:00 am on Main Street in Bishop, Ca. The parade will start with a cattle drive down Main Street! It will also include entertainment including a juggler, mime, awesome animal stilt walkers featured at the fair this year, derby cars, fire department and other first responders and more. The entire community is invited to be a part of the parade.
Check out the Eastern Sierra’s biggest annual yard sale. It’s a true treasure hunt…like 100 yard sales in one location! Seller spaces start at $45.00. Gates open at 9am. Admission is $3 per person. Join the Bishop Climbing Rangers in the Buttermilks parking lot at 8:30am for trail work and litter pickup. We'll have free hot coffee, trash bags, gloves, trash grabbers, and swag. Volunteers must sign a waiver and will work independently or in small groups. Bring: sun protection, warm clothes, water, snacks, a mask, and sturdy shoes.
Bishop Climbing Rangers are available for free coffee and a chat about local ethics and stewardship. Take a stand for our climbing areas.
Join Eastern California Museum at the Gravesite of the 1872 Lone Pine Earthquake Victims, located on the west side of Highway 395 one mile north of Lone Pine. This will be an historical remembrance of the great Lone Pine Earthquake of 1872 that struck the Eastern Sierra impacting lives, property and landscapes.
