Owens Valley Cruisers Fall Colors Car Show

Bishop City Park

Take a drive to the spectacular Owens Valley to join us at the Bishop City Park for the annual Fall Colors Car Show.  You can register Friday evening and socialize, or register Saturday morning at the show - no pre-registration required.  Follow the signs from Main Street.  Friday evening - music and food trucks. Saturday morning - car show with a Lions Club pancake breakfast available. Cost of entry $40, judging by Owens Valley Cruisers, awards at 3pm on Saturday. Friday Night Markets

Eastern Sierra Artists and the City of Bishop are bringing back the very popular Friday Night Markets this summer in Downtown Bishop, located on Academy Street, between Main Street and Warren Street. 

This free event also features live music and lots of local craftspeople, artisans, products of the region, food booths, beer/cocktails, local produce, farmer's market and fun for the whole family!

Upper Owens River Stewardship Event

Volunteers will help clean up the watershed, Brown's Campground, Layton Springs and Benton Crossing area. Breakfast & lunch provided, nature-based kids activities and fly fishing demo. Masks, gloves, trash bags and trash grabbers will be provided. Meet at the upper Owens Benton Crossing Road parking area. Co-sponsored by Sierra Trash Eliminators, USFS, BLM, ESIA and LADWP.

The Bishop Trout Rodeo is coming back to Bishop! This is a catch and release event brought to you by the Southwest Council Fly Fishers International the weekend following President’s Day weekend. We're lucky to have California fishing open year-round in Bishop, and we're going to celebrate with the first mid-winter trout rodeo! This will be a trout tournament for both fly fishers and conventional fishers. The Bishop Chamber of Commerce has been very supportive in bringing this event to our area.
