This free event features live music and lots of local craftspeople, artisans, products of the region, food booths, beer/cocktails, local produce, farmer's market and fun for the whole family! Labor Day Weekend, the fair rolls into the small town of Bishop, CA. Butler Amusements has been providing the Carnival Midway for the Tri-County Fair for over 15 years. Fall Edition Paint Night at Cardinal Village Resort! Event will be in Hunter’s Hall at Cardinal Village Resort. All supplies needed for painting and fun are provided; you just have to show up! 5:30pm check-in and pick out your drinks you will enjoy while you paint. Prepay for your painting spot and charcuterie boards ahead of time. Each charcuterie board includes a variety of treats to enjoy (such as cheese varieties, sliced salamis, olives, and few other sweet treats). Wine will be available to purchase upon arrival

Great Sierra River Cleanup 2024. Join Eastern Sierra Land Trust & Friends of the Inyo for a morning of stewardship! The event will take place at the Artesian Wells off of East Line St. in Bishop, California. They will send out specific meetup information before the event. Please wear comfortable clothing, a water bottle, sun wear (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) and closed toed shoes. We look forward to seeing you out there!

The parade begins 4:30 pm at High Country Lumber and heads north on Main Street, ending at Bishop City Park for the official tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 pm.

This princess was a narrow-gauge railway and she ran from Carson City, Nevada, to Keeler, a bustling mining town on the shores of the now-dry Owens Lake. The 2024 Blake Jones Trout Derby is set for Saturday, March 23rd in Bishop! Every year, nearly $10,000 worth of cash and prizes are awarded including float tubes, rods & reels, gift certificates to local shops and restaurants and more. The Blake Jones derby is a blind bogey format with categories for adults and kids of all ages. In addition to the blind bogey awards, there will be prizes for early bird registrations, farthest travel, biggest fish, even prizes for those who don’t catch any fish or choose to catch & release.
