The Bishop Ultrasare known far and wide as challenging, high quality races, with great scenery, abundant well-stocked aid stations with ultra runner volunteers, a fun community of ‘repeat offenders’, and a pleasant finish line scene. As in the past, distances include a 20 mile “fun run”, a 53k, a 50 miler and a 100k. In 2019 we added a 6k, a great option for kids, or those who have a runner out on the other courses, or if you don’t want to run so far. The 6k starts after the other distances.

Fall Edition Paint Night at Cardinal Village Resort! Event will be in Hunter’s Hall at Cardinal Village Resort.  All supplies needed for painting and fun are provided; you just have to show up! 5:30pm check-in and pick out your drinks you will enjoy while you paint. Prepay for your painting spot and charcuterie boards ahead of time. Bishop Pabanamanina Pow Wow

Bishop Paiute Reservation 390 N. Barlow Lane, Bishop, CA

All drums, dancers and spectators welcome! A pow wow is a gathering, a place where Indigenous Peoples from all tribal backgrounds come to celebrate their cultures and time-honored traditions.  In the oldest days and the earliest ways these gatherings were held, for example, to cure disease or ensure success in a battle or hunt.  This was also a time for tribes to form intertribal alliances.  These alliances allowed tribe-specific songs, dances, and ceremonies to be exchanged, thus laying the foundation for today’s modern, intertribal “powwow” with the sharing of songs, dances, food, and gift-giving.    What To Expect  The Pabanamanina Pow […]
